Welcome to Rough Rider Country!
Congratulations to our students and teachers for another year well done…We are very proud and pleased with our students and their hard work. We trust that everyone will have a fun, safe summer and be ready to return on August 14th as we begin the new school year.
To those returning, please watch the web site throughout the summer as we will be providing important information regarding the new school year and opening day. There will be no information mailed home, as our web site is our main source of communication. We encourage you to view the website often.
Our Office will close the end of June, and will re-open on July 24th. Counselors will be available beginning August 9th for questions regarding schedules. Official schedules will be given to students on the first day of school only. Students absent on the first day of school, will have to re-select their elective classes when they begin, as their seats will be given to new students, if that elective was full.
Six grade students are invited to attend our sixth grade orientation on August 10th at 10:00 AM. At that time, they will receive a temporary schedule along with their locker number and combination. This is a great time for students to find their locker and become familiar. We invite all students new to Rogich, to join us on this day as well. We will meet in the gym at 10 AM.
Again, we thank you for a great school year.
Today, a group of Rogich Students orchestrated a massive release of papers, and sent trash throughout our campus, on the Leisure Center grounds, and the nearby areas within our Community upon their release from school. Our Custodial Staff, teachers and Office Staff have been diligently picking up all of the papers and placing them in trash bags. Several of our staff members are going through the papers, listing the names of students on the paper as there will be a consequence for students involved, regardless of grade level.
Rough Rider Country is a great place to be and will continue to be so. Thank you to our amazing students, parents and staff. Enjoy an amazing summer.
