Sig Rogich Middle School has been designated as a National Blue Ribbon School!
Mrs. Harrison-Rollins Named Nevada's Principal of the Year!
We are so proud to announce that on behalf of SSPAN (Secondary Schools Principal's Association of Nevada) and NASA (Nevada Association of School Administrators) Mrs. Harrison-Rollins has been named Nevada's Principal of the Year!!!
Rogich Middle School is a part of the Clark County School District, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rogich MS is dedicated to setting the standard for rigorous education, and according to the Nevada School Performance Framework has received the highest possible Five Star designation.
Welcome to Rough Rider Country!
On behalf of the teachers and administration, we want to say thank you for your support as we focus on academic achievement and success in the classroom. Since adding an extra minute to each passing period and implementing a No Tardy Policy, we have:
- Lessened the number of classroom interruptions significantly
- Encouraged students to be on time, ready to work
- Students demonstrating a greater focus in the classroom
We appreciate the climate and high expectations that helped Rogich earn and deserve the Blue Ribbon designation.
Just a reminder, students attending an early bird class have elected to carry a seven period day. My philosophy has always been that students should be allowed to participate in a foreign language without giving up their Performing Arts elective. Enrolling in a seven period day is a privilege for students, and a site specific opportunity at Rogich Middle School. If your student is struggling to arrive on time for the 8AM Early Bird class, perhaps you need to discuss as a family if a seven period day is a good fit for you. Students are not required, but yet given the opportunity to take that extra class. If this is a hardship to arrive on time, I would be happy to discuss and create an alternate schedule.
We believe quality instruction is valuable and necessary for student success. Thank you again for your support as we emphasize the importance of being on time and prepared to participate at Sig Rogich Middle School.

Sig Rogich Middle School Wants Your Pop Tops!
Sig Rogich Middle School is collecting pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas! The Ronald McDonald House provides a supportive "home away from home" for families and children who are receiving inpatient or outpatient medical treatment.
The RMHC Pop Top program is a community friendly program which focuses on separating the pull tab from aluminum beverage cans. The tab is a higher grade aluminum than the can, resulting in a higher dollar return per pound than cans. The pop tops are recycled and the proceeds go directly to families in need who are staying at the Ronald MacDonald House.
