online with the convenience of a credit or debit card. Additionally, parents can pay all fees that are:
*mandatory for all students (agenda book and tech fee)
*additional fees based on the classes that their child will be taking during the school year.
Please access the Web store tab at the top of this webpage and carefully follow the directions provided. It is extremely important to not forget to print a receipt of the items you paid for as proof of your purchases and send that receipt with your child to Rogich in order to pick up those items. Welcome to Rough Rider Country!
The 2016-2017 school year is quickly approaching. Enjoy the remainder of the summer with friends and family and know that we are here getting ready for you, and anxious to begin another great year in Rough Rider Country.
Math and Sixth Grade ELA Camps for all interested students begin on Monday, August 15th through Friday, August 19th from 9:00 – 11:30 AM each day. If interested, please enroll in the front office; we will not accept registration after Thursday, August 11th. The cost is $40 per student paid in cash only.
School begins on Monday, August 29th at 9:10 AM for all students. Students will report directly to their homeroom class, according to a first day of school homeroom list by the student’s last name. There will be a list posted on our website as well as several posted around campus on the first day of school.
All students will receive their class schedule on the first day of school; no exceptions will be made. We will not be hosting orientations for returning students this year, as all fees can be paid online via our Web Store located on the Rogich Website. We encourage you to pay your fees early, and visit the website regularly as we will update the website weekly and provide all necessary information throughout the year.
Sixth Grade and New Student Orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd at 10AM. Please meet in the gymnasium to receive important information followed with an opportunity to find lockers, classrooms and meet the administration. We look forward to seeing all sixth grade students at the orientation.
Beginning this year, we are offering a seven period day to all students, and for the first time, to sixth grade students who qualify. Students with a seven period day will begin the day at 8:00 AM and conclude at the regular time of 3:21 PM.
Students may still enroll in the early bird 6th grade ELA ACC class, the 6th grade Fundamentals of Math support class, and the early bird exploring languages elective for 6th graders. Please contact us directly if you are interested in enrolling in the seven period day for sixth grade students. Seventh and Eighth grade students had the opportunity to elect a seven period day in the spring. At this time, those classes are full.
All students enrolling in seven classes will not begin the early bird schedule until Tuesday, August 30th.

We are excited to announce that parents of 7th and 8th grade students no longer have to:
* physically attend an orientation night at the school to pay fees or purchase items necessary for school
*worry about the inconvenience of having cash or checks to make these payments
*send their children to Rogich with cash or checks to make payments with the hope that these payments will actually be made.
As of today, parents can now pay all fees and purchase yearbooks and other required items such as agenda books and PE uniforms online with the convenience of a credit or debit card. Please visit the school website at Rogichms.org and access the Web store tab at the top of the webpage. The agenda book and tech fee are required for all students; however, other additional fees are based on the classes that your child will be taking during the school year. It is extremely important to not forget to print a receipt of the items you paid for as proof of your purchases and send that receipt with your child to Rogich in order to pick up those items.
In addition, 6th grade parents are invited to attend our annual 6th grade orientation on Tuesday, August 23rd at 10:00 am in the gym. 6th grade students who attend will have the opportunity to pick up their schedule, pay fees and school items with cash or checks, practice opening lockers, tour the campus and hallways, and ask questions about Rogich Middle School and the programs that it offers. In order to avoid long lines at this orientation and worry about having cash or checks, 6th grade parents are encouraged to utilize the online webstore at Rogichms.org to pay fees and purchase items anytime before or after this orientation.
Please note that 7th and 8th grade students plus any 6th grade students who did not attend the Aug 23rd orientation will receive their class schedule on the first day of school.
Final Cox Back to School Fair & Shot Clinic to be held Aug. 27 at Downtown Summerlin!
The Clark County School District (CCSD) will assist students and families as they prepare for the 2016-17 school year during the last in a series of four Cox Back to School Fairs & Shot Clinics. Sponsored by Amerigroup Community Care, the annual fairs are free and open to the public, providing "one-stop" opportunities to obtain information and resources.

It is time again for school pictures. Pictures will be taken of ALL students on Wednesday, Sept. 7th and Thursday, Sept. 8th in the gym. All students are to report for pictures whether they are ordering pictures or not (pictures are used for the yearbook, student ID’s, and Infinite Campus).
Student pictures will be taken during the following classes:

Payment method for student pictures will be listed on a picture day flier that will be distributed to all students prior to picture day.
