Rogich MS is dedicated to setting the standard for rigorous education, and according to the Nevada School Performance Framework has received the highest possible Five Star designation.
The mission of Sig Rogich Middle School is to provide students with a challenging middle school experience that will prepare them for high school success academically, behaviorally, and socially. Students will develop lifelong skills through direct instruction, hands-on-learning, and the integration of technology.

Student Council Receives State Recognition!
Sig Rogich Middle School Student Council received the 2020 BATTLE BORN recognition for the state of Nevada from the National Association of Student Councils. Thank you to our members for your leadership and for providing a bright light for students, staff, and community.
Registration for 2020/2021 School Year!

Sig Rogich Middle School Student Council Earns National Recognition!
For its exemplary record of leadership, service, and activities that serve to improve the school and community, the Sig Rogich MS student council has been recognized as a 2020 National Gold Council of Excellence by National of Student Council (NatStuCo).
“Receiving a National Gold Council of Excellence Award reflects the highest dedication on the part of the school to providing a strong, well-rounded student council program,” said Nara Lee, National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) Director of Student Leadership. “NatStuCo applauds the work of the National Gold Councils of Excellence and challenges them to continue their leadership and service to their schools and communities.”
Rough Riders Excel at Nevada National History Day Competition!
Despite being quarantined, many Rogich students participated in a virtual competition for Nevada National History Day. These young men and women worked very hard to produce truly spectacular National History Day projects! While they are all winners in our eyes, the following students placed at the state competition! The winners in each division will be invited to compete in the national virtual competition in June. Congratulations to all!

Vaccination Requirements for Entering 7th Grade
Nevada State Law requires that a student receive the MCV4 (Meningococcal) vaccination and the Tdap vaccination prior to entering 7th grade.
If your child has not received the required MCV4 and/or Tdap immunization(s), download and print the accompanying document (Click HERE), and any existing immunization records to your health care provider or the Southern Nevada Health District to obtain the required vaccine(s). the Southern Nevada Health District's clinic sites can be found at southernnevadahealthdistrict.org.
